When God Reads Your Mind

This story may be completely lame, because I was pretty exhausted when it happened. Yesterday I worked. I woke up, showered, started a puzzle, and watched Big Brother (I had missed it so Mommy recorded it for me.) I went to work thirty minutes early, Kim called. At work all I ate was most of a filled donut. That was all I ate. All day that was it. I got off work - exhausted, and came home. I talked to Jeffy, then headed for bed. I did some more puzzle (basically finished the border), then really went to bed. I lay there tossing and turning because i couldn't fall asleep. I didn't know why I couldn't fall asleep. Then it dawned on me: I was hungry. I went through my day and realized how I didn't eat. All I could think of was pizza. Earlier before I started work someone had ordered pizza, as good as it looked I didn't feel like finding out whose it was, or if I could have some. Well, it was 11:30 and Dad was asleep. I had no desire to get out of bed and wake him, but I couldn't sleep. That is quite the dilemma. Well, I knew I had a crunch bar ice cream in the freezer. I figured I should get up and get that. I made it to the kitchen. Dad woke up and said "Who's there?" "Me." "Ashley?" "Yeah." "You should go to bed."
Well, you and I know I was going to bed. So I explained, "I was in bed, but I'm hungry."
Then it happened, "There's pizza outside."
Are you kidding me? What a blessing! What a God-thing. All right I know it's just pizza. But I had been craving pizza ALL day! Dad didn't know that, but my Heavenly Father did. God had read my mind hours before I even had that thought. That's exactly what I told myself Midnight last night when I was finally drifting off to sleep.

OH! I am such a dork "outside". No Dad didn't set it outside for me to get. Outside is the garage, which has another fridge. Just to clarify. ;-P
