Scary Movies
Today has been groggy. It is rainy beautiful - if you consider that to be beauty: the hot rain of Texas. Rainy days are sleepy days and days to read. For me they hold a double work shift. At the moment I am deciding to be a nice person or not, unfortunantly I am a nice one and will go into work an hour early for Brittny. I think she's probably going to the movies. They were talking about going and seeing The Village. It looks good and scary, but I will wait for the groups review. I love scary movies. That may be another thing I am going to influence Jeff on. I made him watch Texas Chainsaw Massacre (I had already seen it), but can I tell you how I still jumped more than he did? hehe* I have always enjoyed scary movies. I think it is because they are so hard to do well. Many times their plots fall short. I think my favorite is "The Ring" and "Blair Witch," though I didn't find The Ring lastingly scary, but it had such a good storyline. The difference with Blair is you are able to identify with the characters, because they were really scared. Plus, Blair also had a good history story in it. I think stories of old that come alive now - such as curses are facinating. I don't find many alien movies scary. I think things like Red Dragon or Silence of the lambs is more creepy. I enjoy things that could really happen. Gives you a more eerie feeling when it's over and you slowly, cautiously, head for bed.
Okay, so I totally went off there. And all I was doing was telling you why I may go into work early. I am such a dork.
Here's to later days, and spookie stories. If it gets too scary just put on Casper the Friendly Ghost.
